This year, the tour kicked off with a goal: the Varazzee Festival on April 4-6. In American basketball, we have what's called The Dream Team. Well, for this event, I had a Dream Band. These guys rocked! During the live Nataraj, watching an old eighty-year old lady dancing in ecstasy while two tatooed and pierced twenty-year old girls twirled around her, I could only shake my head in amazement. This joyful trio made me realize: This was an event that transcended time and space. And of course, sitting by the Mediterranean during a break, sipping cappuccino in the sun under the blue sky, I had to wonder: Is there really anywhere else in the world to be? Bella Italia!
